STEVE DAY 2001!

Our first attempt at a National Holiday!

The threat of Anthrax filled the nation with fear on October 13, 2001 but one man was beyond the fear, that man was Steve. You might ask yourself "What kind of a man would be so unfearful of such a threat?" A man who has been taking anti-biotics and steroids for a couple of months to clear up a major infection, that's who. No Anthrax would go near him with those defences, not even a member of Metallica!

This guy has been more elusive than Elvis in the fat and bloated years. Once a favorite of the chat and newsgroup forums and now, rarely seen.

On 10/13/01, all of that changed. Steve needed some games moved around in his house and considering how he has been feeling, we all went over to help him. Friends do that sort of thing.

Jeff 2.5 Helps move stuff... Jeff 2.5 Helps move a game...

Afterwards, we took Steve to the Jersey shore and played a kick-ass game of Goofy Golf. Unfortunately we forgot to take a camera, but we brought back the score card (and a darling little pencil). Before we played, we all decided to go easy on poor Steve and let him win. After all, it *WAS* "Steve Day". Somewhere between the first and last hole, that plan was lost with only yours truly missing easy shots to allow our hero the win he so desperately was seeking.

Golf Scores The Golf Scores...
The Golf Outing Crew... The Golf Outing Crew...
Rejoice in your heritage, young Steve, for this has been "your day"!
